Let Sukiru keep an eye on your ink expiration dates and recalls; or containers that have been open longer than you'd like. Building a history on what you've used for each client for future reference.
Using single use inks? No problem, if your ink is single use, Sukiru tracks all the inks in that pack and removes them from your palette as you use them in sessions or patch tests.
Ethical tattooing goes beyond how we treat our clients; it includes ensuring their safety with the right processes and records.
Paper diaries are great, but they can be difficult to maintain, then there's always the yearly 'switch over'. Worse case scenario, they can get lost.
Going digital opens up a world of possibilities to make managing your appointments easier, more efficient, and less stressful.
Offer clients appointment options, prevent double bookings, send reminders, and get a clear overview of your schedule at a glance.
Paperless and secure.
New features are added regularly, but here are a few highlights of what you can expect from Sukiru.
Manage each client from their dashboard.
Contact details, session history, notes, inks and payments. All in one place.
Build your palette, an overview of the inks you use.
These are the inks you're currently using and can be added to client sessions for recording purposes.
Accept payments through Stripe.
Send your clients payment links, take deposits when offering appointments or have them scan a QR code.
* Stripe fees apply.
Manage your appointments with a digital diary that syncs to your device calendar.
If you're offering dates and accepting payments you're going to need somewhere to send your clients.
Your online profile is a simple, customisable profile page that you can share with your clients to book appointments and make payments.
Catch up with the latest news in the tattoo and PMU industry, from new regulations to ink recalls, and everything in between.
Keep informed on what's going on in legislation, scientific papers, events and relevant podcasts.
Every account includes the complete booking system for managing your diary, clients and sessions.
You can always create manual bookings for free.

Everything you need to manage your diary, clients and sessions is included.
Coming soon...
Designed for artists taking regular bookings.
Ideal if you use payments and platform booking fees start to approach a subscription.
If you only take a few bookings each month with deposits, or use Sukiru for your daily diary and keeping records, Core will likely be enough.
As you use more of the deposit & payment features, your platform fees may become comparable to a Premium subscription.
Premium subscriptions are coming soon, only upgrade if and when it makes financial sense for your business.
*All Sukiru features are free to use. The only charge is a platform fee when you request payments within the app.
We're constantly developing new features and improvements, but here are a few ideas we're thinking of that we think you'll love.
Nothing, it's free, forever.
Your diary, record keeping, notes and bookings are included.
If you offer a booking with a deposit request or request a payment from a client with a payment link there's a small platform fee.
We're always open about the cost before any payment request is sent.
Ideally we'd love to offer all of it completely free for everyone, but the platform fee helps cover email, server, cloud and development costs.
We're looking for sponsors such as ink brands and suppliers which would allow us to open up more free features. In return we would offer sponsors exposure via the app.
For the time being we have to charge a small platform fee for deposits/payments, if and when you request them.
We'll be adding a Premium subscription as we roll out additional features, that will include no platform fees on any payment.
We’ve put together a walkthrough video to help you get set up and familiar
with the app.
There are also focused videos covering specific features, plus an in-app
help centre with guides and troubleshooting tips.
At the moment, no.
We've chosen to focus on the individual because in part tattooists and permanent makeup artists tend to be self employed or freelancers.
The artist should always have complete control and access of their client list, notes and session details.
Often when an artists decides to move on this becomes a point of
contention in studios, so we've focussed on the individual first.
We may look to offer a Studio plan in the future though, and if so we'll take the lead from those using Sukiru as to the best way to approach this.
It's pretty simple to use but if you get stuck there's links to resources and support for every feature which walks you through using it.
If you've used an online calendar, input details in a form or selected options from a list before, you're pretty much good to go.
There are certain features that are a bit more complex, but these have guides on our YouTube channel and tips to help you get the most out of them.
And you're welcome to reach out directly on hello@sukiru.app or our insta if you need any help or have questions.
Definitely, you can create or connect a Stripe account and start accepting deposits with bookings or direct payments after an appointment or for studio merch.
Please check out our pricing section on how this works and fees involved.

full breakdown of Sukiru and Stripe fees.
You can use whichever you like best.
Sukiru is made for iOS and Android devices, mobile phone or tablet, in some cases you can install it on a Macbook too.
Use a phone on the go, and your tablet when it's more convenient.
Use whichever suits you best, the functionality is the same on both although some screen layouts may vary slightly.
Tattoo & PMU inks are complex chemical products that can pose a risk to both artists and clients if not used and stored properly.
In addition some inks are recalled due to safety concerns, and it's important to be aware of this information to ensure the safety of your clients and the quality of your work.
In recent years we've seen new regulations introduced in the EU (REACH) and UK that require artists to keep detailed records of the inks they use, and monitor for recalls and safety information.
The USA has introduced the Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act of 2022 (MoCRA), and we expect other countries to follow suit in the coming years.
Knowing the products you use, how to use them safely, and keeping up to date with any safety information is crucial for running a safe and successful business. It helps keep your clients safe, and can help protect you from legal or insurance issues, and reputational damage that can arise from using unsafe products.
No, but if you want to create an online profile and accept card payments and deposits through Sukiru, then yes, you'll need a Stripe account.
You can create one in the app, on the Stripe website, or connect an existing account. It's free to create an account, and there are no monthly fees, you just pay Stripe's transaction fees and a small flat platform fee per transaction to Sukiru to help fund the project and future development. (There will be no platform fee on the Premium Plan)
If you dont want to use Stripe, you can still use the app as a digital diary and for day to day admin and record keeping, but you won't be able to accept card payments or deposits through the Sukiru. You can still keep track of your payments by manually adding them to your sessions though.
No, it's an optional feature that you can use if you want to accept payments and let clients book appointments through your online profile.
You can still use the app as a digital diary, track your inks and do day to day admin without setting up a user profile.
If you do choose to set up a user profile, you can add as much or as little information as you like, and you have full control over what information is visible to clients.
We're currently looking an integrating forms as a new feature.
It's for both.
We list both tattoo and PMU inks in the app.
Everytime we add a feature we make sure to look at it from both perspectives. Tattooists and PMU practitioners have similar work processes,
and while the application and areas worked on may differ, there's alot in common in how we work and the admin involved.
You can choose to create an Online Profile page in Sukiru (in your Settings).
This gives you a unique link on the web where clients can find out about you, view your socials, your studio rules and any news you have.
It also allows you to offer bookings, request client info and accept payments, all through your profile page.
Each booking, client info or payment request you make to a client sends them an email with a secure link to fulfill the request within your Online Profile.
It's available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Just search for "Sukiru" or use the buttons below, install the app, create your account and start using it as your diary and for day to day admin.
Also check out the in app help and our YouTube channel for walkthroughs.
