1. Configure your settings
Once you've installed Sukiru, the best place to start is your Settings.
Tap the cog icon in the top-right of the Home screen.
Important settings to configure:
Studio
- Add your studio details.
- Add additional studios if you work at multiple locations.
- Select your current studio using the icon beside the name.
Suppliers
- Select the suppliers you buy inks from.
- Filter by Tattoo or PMU suppliers.
- Use the search bar to find a supplier quickly.
- If your supplier isn't listed, contact us using the icon in the top-right.
Ink Brands
- Select the brands you use.
- Switch between Tattoo and PMU brands.
- Use search to quickly find brands.
- If a brand is missing, contact us and we'll add it.
Appointment Settings
- Set your typical start and end of day.
- Choose whether appointments can overlap.
- Enable default appointment confirmation emails.
- Add payment information if you take deposits or payments.
- Set expiry times for appointment offers sent to clients.
You can also sync appointments to your device calendar
(Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, etc.).
Preset Appointment Times
- Create quick presets like Full Day, Morning Session, or Consultation.
- Select + to add a preset.
- Set the description, start time, and duration.
- The system will automatically calculate the end time.
Once these are configured you're ready to start using the app.
2. Add your first client
- Open the Clients screen.
- Add yourself as a client using your email address (you can remove it later).
- Select your name to open your Client Dashboard.
- From here you can manage sessions, notes, images, payments, and inks used.
- A client can only be deleted if they have no sessions.
3. Add an ink to your palette
- Open the Palette screen.
- Press the + button to add an ink.
- Select a brand or search for a specific ink.
- Add optional details such as supplier, expiry date, lot number, or batch number.
- The more information you add, the better your records and reports will be.
Once added, the ink is tracked for recalls and available for client sessions.
4. Create your first appointment
- Open the Diary from the bottom navigation.
- Use Month View to get started.
- Swipe left or right to move between months.
- Select a future date and tap +.
- Choose a client and complete the appointment details.
Appointments can also be created directly from the client's dashboard.
